BONNIE CHOI | HEAD PRODUCERBonnie Choi is a film producer in New York City. She has been developing and producing original films and commercial content for over 10 years.
As the head of production and a producer at Studio Matter, she created and produced over 70 works of original content emphasizing high quality footage with a cinematic aesthetic. She has coordinated and executed all logistics and on-site management for Studio Matter. She has worked with various global clients including P&G, Kohler, Samsung, Sephora, Jack Nicklaus, Caudalie, Dr. Brandt Skincare, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, Ahava, Lagos, Pause Well-Aging, Zazen Bear, ASPCA, and many more.
She began producing and writing films during her time in college. She moved to New York to further pursue film production. She produced the feature film, Either | Or, which was written and directed by Justin Rigby which had its premiere in New York City. EITHER | OR went to be selected to the 2012 Manhattan Film Festival and was also screened as part of the Lighthouse Film Festival Board Member Special Screening series.
Bonnie Choi studied Art History and English Literature for a bachelor degree and received a master’s degree in Art Market: Practices and Principles from FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), a State University of New York.
She continues to develop and produce various narrative film projects and commercial content.
JUSTIN RIGBY | CREATIVE DIRECTOR | FILMMAKERJustin Rigby is a filmmaker who has been creating and producing original film and video content for over 15 years.
Rigby founded Studio Matter in 2014 in New York with producer Bonnie Choi to pursue several film projects. As the Creative Director | Filmmaker of Studio Matter, he has directed, written, and edited numerous brand films and forms of digital marketing content in addition to continuing to develop original narrative film projects.
Prior to founding Studio Matter, Rigby released his first feature film, EITHER | OR, which premiered in New York City. This film was an official selection to the 2012 Manhattan Film Festival and was also screened as part of the Lighthouse Film Festival Board Member Special Screening series.
Rigby studied film theory and production at the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, and Theater in 2005.
Rigby continues to write and develop various narrative film projects and commercial content.
